Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for new product introductions, utilizing 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA) and performing simulations.
• Conduct thorough design validation through FEA and other analytical methods to ensure product durability and performance.
• Create detailed technical drawings, specifications, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) for manufacturing.
• Collaborate effectively with remote cross-functional teams, including electrical engineering, industrial design, and software development, via video conferencing and collaborative platforms.
• Work closely with manufacturing partners and suppliers to ensure design for manufacturability (DFM) and assembly (DFA).
• Troubleshoot design-related issues encountered during prototyping and production phases.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends in mechanical design and product development.
• Manage design tasks and contribute to project schedules to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in mechanical design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating successful product development.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks preferred) and simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS).
• Solid understanding of material properties, manufacturing processes, and mechatronics.
