Placements24 is seeking a Remote Mechanical Engineer to join a collaborative product development team, working fully remotely from anywhere in South Africa. You will design, develop, and refine mechanical products from concept to production readiness, leveraging CAD tools and mechanical expertise.

You'll work with a distributed team, manage tasks independently, and deliver high-quality engineering solutions across diverse projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional mechanical design experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with remote team members, including product managers, designers, and manufacturing engineers, using digital collaboration platforms.

• Oversee prototype development and testing, analyze results, and implement design improvements.
