Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop new mechanical components and systems for agricultural machinery, including planters, harvesters, and implements.
• Create detailed 3D CAD models, 2D manufacturing drawings, and assembly instructions using industry-standard software.
• Perform engineering analysis, including stress, fatigue, and kinematic simulations, to ensure design integrity and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, agronomists, and production staff, to integrate mechanical systems and meet project requirements.
• Select appropriate materials, components, and manufacturing processes, considering factors like durability, cost, and environmental impact.
• Conduct design reviews, prototype testing, and field trials, and implement necessary design modifications.
• Troubleshoot design issues and provide technical support throughout the product lifecycle.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes and standards for agricultural equipment.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant safety standards and regulations for agricultural machinery.
• Maintain accurate and organized design documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical design, with a preference for experience in agricultural machinery or related equipment (e.g., construction, forestry).
