You are a strategic, hands-on host with strong leadership, crisis management and a passion for wildlife, culture, and guest satisfaction. Must have 3+ years in camp or lodge management.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 required; formal qualification an advantage.
• At least 3 years’ experience in camp or lodge management.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal and crisis management skills.
• Must demonstrate maturity, professionalism and excellent communication.
• Valid driver’s license and off-road driving proficiency.
• First aid training beneficial; knowledge of local regulations helpful.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of daily camp operations in partnership with Lodge Management.
• Ensure seamless coordination across departments to maintain high service standards.
• Manage logistics, maintenance, and hygiene protocols across camp facilities.
• Sell beverages and handicrafts to enhance guest experience.
• Deliver personalised, world-class hospitality to guests.
• Plan and execute daily activities (game drives, bush walks, experiences).
• Support recruitment, training and performance management of staff.
• Assist in budget development and cost control; maintain inventory and reporting.
• Ensure adherence to SANParks regulations and safety protocols.
