Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (CDL-A) license with a clean driving record.
• Minimum of 3 years of verifiable long-haul experience.
• Ownership of a reliable tractor-trailer unit.
• Proven ability to operate independently on a consistent schedule.
• Excellent knowledge of DOT Hours of Service (HOS) and safety protocols.
• Strong load securement knowledge.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Operate your own tractor-trailer unit for long-haul freight transport.
• Ensure safe loading, transport, and unloading of cargo.
• Adhere to all regulations regarding safety and HOS.
• Plan efficient routes to meet delivery deadlines and optimize mileage.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections for roadworthiness.
• Maintain logs and records of driving activities and deliveries.
• Communicate status updates with dispatch and operations teams.
• Keep vehicle and trailer in excellent mechanical condition per company standards.
• Provide professional customer service during pickups and deliveries.
