Placements24 is seeking a highly organized Remote Logistics Specialist to manage logistics operations from a remote location. You will oversee shipment tracking, liaise with carriers and suppliers, and resolve issues without warehouse presence, ensuring timely movement of goods.

The role emphasizes proactive communication, detailed record-keeping, and continuous improvement of supply chain efficiency, all while maintaining a flexible remote work setup.

Qualifications

• Degree in logistics, supply chain, business administration or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in logistics, transportation or supply chain management.
• Ability to manage logistics remotely with strong self-discipline and organization.
• Proficiency with logistics software, tracking systems and remote collaboration tools.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and track shipments across various modes of transport, providing timely updates.
• Coordinate with carriers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth and efficient logistics operations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve logistical issues remotely, including delays, damages, or documentation discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all logistics activities and documentation.
