Placements24 is seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Specialist to join a fully remote team. You will coordinate inbound/outbound shipments, track deliveries, prepare shipping docs, and resolve issues to ensure smooth operations.

This role emphasizes strong organizational and communication skills in a remote-first environment. Ideal candidates have proven logistics coordination experience, proficiency with logistics software and Excel, and the ability to work independently across multiple tasks

Qualifications

• Proven experience in logistics coordination or logistics specialist role.
• Strong understanding of transportation modes, shipping procedures, and logistics documentation.
• Proficiency in using logistics software and Excel.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and work independently in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage inbound and outbound logistics activities, including scheduling shipments and tracking deliveries.
• Liaise with carriers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation of goods.
• Prepare and process all necessary shipping documentation, such as bills of lading, customs forms, and invoices.
• Monitor shipments for delays or issues, and proactively implement solutions to minimize disruption.
• Maintain accurate records of all logistics transactions and update the company's logistics management system.
• Analyze logistics data to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
