Job summary

Remote Recruitment is hiring a Logistics Coordinator for a UK-based employer, fully remote from South Africa. You will coordinate shipments end to end, book carriers, track consignments and sort out the problems that appear mid-transit. When something goes wrong at 3pm, you're the person who already has a plan.

You'll work remotely from Cape Town, with UK business hours and a focus on keeping a UK supply chain moving, including bookings, carriers, exceptions and all.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics, freight, shipping or supply chain coordination.
• Confident with spreadsheets for tracking and reporting.
• Experience with a WMS, TMS or ERP system.
• Calm problem-solving when shipments go wrong, A quiet home workspace and stable fibre connection.

Responsibilities

• Book and schedule shipments with carriers and freight partners.
• Track consignments and proactively flag delays.
• Resolve delivery exceptions, damages and shortages.
• Maintain shipping documentation and delivery records.
• Report on carrier performance and delivery costs.
