Placements24 is seeking a Remote Logistics Coordinator and Driver to plan, execute, and monitor transport operations for the Welkom region from a remote setting. This hybrid role focuses on virtual coordination with occasional local driving, combining autonomy with strong communication across clients and teams.

The ideal candidate will have a Code 10 license with PDP, proven logistics coordination experience, and proficiency with logistics software.

Qualifications

Valid Code 10 driver's license with PDP.
Experience in logistics coordination or dispatch.
Proficiency in using logistics management software and standard office apps.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work autonomously.
Strong understanding of Welkom area's geography and transportation networks.
Reliable home office setup with a stable internet connection.

Responsibilities

Coordinate daily delivery schedules and routes for local drivers remotely.
Use logistics software to track shipments, monitor driver performance, and optimize resources.
Communicate with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve issues.
Occasionally perform local delivery and pickup tasks within Welkom.
Prepare and analyze reports on logistics operations and identify improvements.
Maintain and update documentation and databases related to logistics activities.
