Job summary

Wild Dreams Hospitality in Limpopo is seeking a mature hospitality professional for a guest-facing lodge role. You will support dining, bar, and guest services across a seven-night fixed-stay experience.

The position requires excellent English, possible Afrikaans, and 5+ years in lodge-related roles with bar and beverage experience. The job offers a live-in setup with meals, shared gratuity, and leave entitlements, in a remote rural lodge environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in lodge service, waitering, bar service, or guest hosting.
• Exceptional English fluency, written and spoken.
• Afrikaans an advantage.
• Confident, well-spoken, and comfortable engaging with international guests.
• Ability to prepare basic coffees, cocktails, and lodge-standard beverages; bar experience essential.
• Ability to read, retain, and confidently present wine descriptions and menu pairings to guests.
• Competent with POS systems and accurate stock management.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal service, table setup, clearing, and resetting across all dining periods.
• Deliver warm, attentive service throughout guest dining experiences.
• Confidently present wine descriptions and menu pairings to guests.
• Ensure dining areas remain clean, organised, and guest-ready at all times.
• Welcome guests on arrival and conduct room and lodge orientation tours.
• Manage guest schedules, activity times, and daily operational flow.
• Communicate guest requests promptly to relevant departments.
• Maintain a warm, professional presence throughout the stay.
• Assist with bar service and preparation of drinks, coffees, and cocktails to lodge standard.
• Take drink orders, operate POS accurately, and control bar stock.
• Report maintenance issues promptly and support smooth operational flow.
