Placements24 is seeking a sharp and analytical Legal Researcher to join our client's forward-thinking legal team. This remote role enables you to leverage your research skills from anywhere in South Africa to support casework and strategic decision-making.

You will conduct in-depth legal research, analyze complex questions, and prepare clear written reports. A Law degree (LLB or equivalent) and experience with LexisNexis or Westlaw are essential for success.

Qualifications

• LLB or equivalent law degree required.
• Proven legal research and writing experience.
• Proficiency with LexisNexis and Westlaw essential.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive legal research using databases, statutes, and case law.
• Analyze complex legal questions and prepare detailed reports and memoranda.
• Stay updated on legal developments and evolving case law.
• Assist in preparing arguments, briefs, and other documents.
