Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Lead Telecom Software Developer for a fully remote role. You will spearhead architecture, mentor distributed engineers, and deliver scalable telecom software solutions powering OSS/BSS and related services.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in software development with 3+ in a leadership/architectural role, and strong expertise in Java, C++, Python, microservices, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure). This is a senior, high-impact role with global collaboration.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years in professional software development, with at least 3 years in lead or architectural roles.
• Proven experience building telecom software (OSS/BSS, network management, signaling).

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of complex telecom software systems for scalability and reliability.
• Mentor a distributed team and define technical roadmaps and best practices.
• Oversee the end-to-end SDLC from planning to maintenance and delivery.
• Collaborate with product managers to turn requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to quality standards.
