Job summary

Placements24 seeks a Lead Renewable Energy Analyst to drive analytical strategy for clients in the renewable sector. You will lead a team, perform market and policy analyses, and develop robust financial models for solar, wind, and storage projects.

You will synthesize techno-economic insights, evaluate new technologies, and deliver strategic recommendations to developers, investors, and policymakers in a fully remote setup.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in energy market analysis or strategic consulting within renewables.
• Experience leading analytical teams and managing complex projects.
• Strong knowledge of renewable energy technologies, markets, and policy frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of renewable energy analysts, overseeing project execution and quality.
• Conduct market analysis including supply/demand forecasts, policy impacts, and competitive landscapes for renewables.
• Develop financial models to assess economic viability of solar, wind and storage projects.
• Perform techno-economic assessments and sensitivity analyses.
• Evaluate emerging renewable energy technologies and their market adoption potential.
• Analyze resource data (solar irradiance and wind speeds) and implications for development.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and strategic recommendations for clients and senior management.
• Stay abreast of global and regional trends, regulations, and tech advancements; collaborate with other departments.
