Placements24 is seeking a Remote Lead Quantitative Developer to design and optimize high-frequency trading systems. You will spearhead development of trading algorithms, risk management, and market data infrastructure for a global client base.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s or PhD in a quantitative field, 7+ years in quantitative development, and expert C++/Python skills. Remote-first, with leadership responsibilities and opportunities to shape architecture.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in quantitative development, ideally in high-frequency trading.
• Expert level proficiency in C++ and Python.
• Strong understanding of financial markets, trading strategies, and statistical arbitrage.
• Experience with real-time systems, low-latency programming, and performance optimization.
• Proven leadership with ability to mentor and manage technical teams.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fully remote, asynchronous team environment.

Responsibilities
