This role is essential for conducting advanced power system studies and analyses to support the integration of renewable energy projects and ensure grid reliability worldwide. The successful candidate will leverage sophisticated modeling tools and their deep technical expertise to advise clients on complex grid challenges. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute complex power system studies, including load flow, short-circuit, transient stability, and harmonic analysis for diverse grid configurations.
• Develop, validate, and maintain detailed power system models using industry-standard software packages.
• Analyze the impact of renewable energy integration, energy storage systems, and electric vehicle charging on grid performance.
• Provide expert technical recommendations to clients on grid enhancement strategies, protection schemes, and operational improvements.
• Mentor and guide junior analysts, ensuring the quality and accuracy of all study outputs.
• Collaborate with project teams, clients, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver timely, high-quality results.
• Contribute to the development of new analytical methodologies and tools.

Requirements

• Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Power Systems.
• A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in power system analysis and simulation, with a strong emphasis on renewable energy integration.
• Expert proficiency in power system simulation software such as PSS/E, PowerFactory DIgSILENT, PSCAD, or equivalent.
• In-depth understanding of power system fundamentals, including stability, dynamics, protection, and control.
• Experience with modeling different types of generation, including conventional and renewable sources (solar PV, wind).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex technical concepts.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results under tight deadlines in a remote setting.
