Qualifications

• PhD in Chemistry, Materials Science, Physics, Chemical Engineering, or related with Nanotechnology specialization
• Minimum 8 years post-doctoral or industry research in nanotechnology with strong publication record or patents
• Expertise in synthesis and characterization of advanced nanomaterials
• Proficiency with state-of-the-art characterization instrumentation
• Demonstrated ability to lead research projects and mentor scientific staff
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for a remote-first role

Responsibilities

• Lead design and execution of cutting-edge nanotechnology research projects focusing on synthesis, characterization, and application of nanomaterials
• Develop and optimize synthesis protocols for nanoparticles, nanowires, and 2D materials
• Utilize TEM, SEM, AFM, XPS and spectroscopy to analyze material properties
• Explore and validate applications in electronics, medicine, or energy
• Mentor junior researchers and technical staff
• Author scientific publications, patent applications, and technical reports
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external research institutions to advance goals
