Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Lead Investment Banker to spearhead remote advisory services for global clients from the Cape Town region. This senior role leads deal execution, client relationships, and business development across M&A, capital raising, and corporate finance advisory.

The role requires a Master’s degree in a related field and 10+ years of experience, with a proven track record of handling complex financial transactions.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years in investment banking or corporate finance advisory.
• Proven track record of originating and executing complex financial transactions.
• In-depth knowledge of financial markets, valuation methodologies, and deal structuring.

Responsibilities

• Lead origination and execution of M&A transactions, debt, and equity financings.
• Develop financial models, valuation analyses, and transaction structures.
• Manage client relationships and provide strategic financial advice throughout deals.
• Build and maintain relationships with investors, financial institutions, and market participants.
• Mentor and supervise junior members of the investment banking team.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and client engagements.
