Placements24 seeks an experienced Lead Geologist to join our client’s Oil & Gas operations in a fully remote capacity. You will oversee geological assessments, guide exploration strategies, and interpret subsurface data to support field development plans.

You will lead a team of geologists, mentor juniors, and collaborate with reservoir engineers and geophysicists to deliver integrated geological insights across projects, with a strong emphasis on remote collaboration and flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Ph.D. in Geology, Geophysics, or a related earth science discipline.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Expertise in geological software packages (e.g., Petrel, GeoGraphix) and data analysis techniques.
• Strong understanding of sequence stratigraphy, sedimentology, and structural geology.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of remote collaboration.
