Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a Sales Development Representative to own the top of the funnel across South Africa. You will research, source, and book meetings with qualified decision makers, creating the first impression of Blacksmith for potential clients, with remote work options within the country.

You will leverage tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce to hit volume targets while maintaining high-quality outreach.

Qualifications

• 2 years in SDR/BDR role, agency or SaaS experience is a plus
• Strong written communication and ability to personalize outreach
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline
• Gritty, curious and coachable

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team
