Job summary

Placements24 is partnering with a project to hire a Lead Full-Stack Developer for a fully remote, international team. You will guide architecture, development, and deployment of cloud-based applications, mentoring frontend and backend engineers and driving technical excellence in an agile environment.

You will shape the tech stack, implement robust CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate with product managers to define roadmaps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
• 10+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 3 years in lead or senior architect roles.
• Extensive backend experience (Python/Django, Node.js/Express, Java/Spring Boot, Go).
• Proficiency in frontend frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js) and modern JavaScript.
• Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containers (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Database design and management (SQL and NoSQL).
• Solid understanding of microservices, RESTful APIs, and event-driven systems.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
• Proven ability to thrive in a fully remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and implementation of robust full-stack apps using modern tech.
• Architect cloud-native solutions on AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Mentor backend/frontend developers, ensure code quality.
• Oversee end-to-end development lifecycle from concept to deployment.
• Enforce coding standards, best practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with product managers to define technical roadmaps.
• Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and security assessments.
• Troubleshoot complex tech issues across the stack.
