Qualifications

PhD or Master's in a quantitative field related to data science.
10+ years in data science, with at least 4 in leadership roles.
Proven ML expertise for time-series forecasting and optimization in energy.
Strong Python or R, SQL, and big data tech such as Spark/Hadoop.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and MLOps.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Lead the development and deployment of machine learning models for energy forecasting , demand response, and grid optimization.
Mentor and manage a team of data scientists, providing technical guidance and fostering professional growth.
Collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams to define analytical problems and translate business needs into data science solutions.
Design and implement robust data pipelines and feature engineering processes for large-scale energy datasets .
Stay current with cutting-edge techniques in machine learning, AI, and energy analytics , and advocate for their adoption.
Communicate complex findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

PhD or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Physics, or a related quantitative field.
10+ years of experience in data science and machine learning, with at least 4 years in a lead or management role .
Proven expertise in building and deploying ML models for time-series analysis, forecasting, and optimization in the energy sector .
