Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Remote Lead Civil Design Engineer to spearhead sustainable infrastructure design across renewable energy facilities, green buildings, water systems and urban developments. This role requires experienced leadership of remote design teams and delivering compliant, environmentally conscious designs in a virtual setting.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering (Environmental/Sustainable focus).
• Pr Eng registration with ECSA is mandatory.
• At least 10 years of civil engineering design experience, with 5+ years in sustainable infrastructure or green projects.
• Proven ability to lead remote design teams and manage complex projects.
• Strong knowledge of sustainability frameworks and environmental assessment methods.

Responsibilities

• Lead conceptualization, design, and development of sustainable civil infrastructure.
• Develop design solutions with green building principles and renewable energy integration.
• Manage and mentor remote design teams to ensure high-quality outputs.
• Conduct feasibility studies, life-cycle cost analyses, and impact assessments.
• Prepare detailed designs, specs, and tender documents focused on sustainable methods.
• Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, planners, and environmental specialists virtually.
• Ensure designs comply with environmental regulations and LEED/BREEAM standards.
• Drive business development through proposals and client presentations on sustainable solutions.
