Placements24 is seeking a visionary Lead Blockchain Architect to define the technical roadmap and architecture for next-generation decentralized platforms. You will lead a team of blockchain engineers, set standards, and drive innovation across Web3 initiatives.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• 10+ years of experience in software architecture and design, with a minimum of 5 years in blockchain/distributed ledger technology.
• Proven experience designing and architecting complex, large-scale blockchain solutions.
• Deep understanding of various blockchain protocols (e.g., Ethereum, Polkadot, Cosmos) and their trade-offs.
• Expertise in smart contract languages (Solidity, Rust) and development environments.

Responsibilities

• Define and document the overall architecture for new blockchain-based products and services.
• Evaluate and select appropriate blockchain platforms, consensus mechanisms, and development tools.
• Design scalable, secure, and robust smart contract systems and dApp infrastructures.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to blockchain development teams.
• Develop proof-of-concepts and prototypes for innovative blockchain solutions.
• Establish best practices for blockchain development, security, and deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, design, and operations to ensure alignment.
• Stay current with emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in the blockchain and Web3 landscape.
• Contribute to the technical vision and strategy of the company.
• Ensure high availability, performance, and fault tolerance of deployed systems.
