Placements24 is seeking a Lead Blockchain Developer to steer the technical direction of groundbreaking projects. You will mentor junior developers, architect secure smart contracts, and drive the implementation of scalable decentralized platforms in a remote, asynchronous environment.

You will lead a team of developers, collaborate with product managers, and define roadmaps while upholding high coding standards and best practices.

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
• 7+ years of software development experience, with at least 4 years in blockchain development.
• Proven experience leading development teams and projects.
• Expertise in smart contract development (Solidity, Vyper, Rust) and blockchain platforms (Ethereum, Polkadot).
• Strong understanding of distributed ledger technology, consensus mechanisms, and cryptographic principles.
• Experience with Web3 development frameworks and tools (Hardhat, Truffle, Web3.js).
• Proficiency in backend languages (Go, Node.js, Python).
• Excellent problem-solving, architectural design, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fully remote, distributed team.
• Experience with agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsabilités

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex blockchain protocols and dApps.
• Architect scalable and secure smart contracts using Solidity or Rust.
• Mentor and guide a team of blockchain developers, fostering technical excellence.
