Placements24 is partnering with a world-leading sports performance technology company to recruit a Lead Sports Scientist in Biomechanics. This remote, senior role leads a team of biomechanists and researchers to advance movement analysis and athletic optimization for elite athletes worldwide.

You will design and drive cutting-edge motion capture and EMG studies, publish top-tier findings, and translate insights into training and injury-prevention strategies.

Formación

• PhD or equivalent in Biomechanics, Sports Science, or related field.
• 7+ years post-doctoral research with strong biomechanics publications.
• Extensive experience with motion analysis systems and EMG.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, remote work capability.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and mentor a team of biomechanists and sports scientists.
• Design and conduct advanced biomechanical analyses using motion capture, force plates, EMG.
• Develop and validate novel biomechanical methodologies.
• Collaborate with coaches and medical staff to apply findings in training and injury prevention.
• Translate complex biomechanical data into actionable insights for diverse audiences.
• Publish research findings and present at international conferences.
• Manage research projects within time and budget.
• Stay current with biomechanics literature and technology advancements.
• Foster a collaborative and innovative research environment.
