Placements24 is seeking a Lead BIM Architect for a fully remote role. The candidate will lead BIM standards, BEPs, and training across projects, coordinating with design teams, contractors, and clients worldwide. A strong BIM background and leadership in large-scale projects are essential.

The role emphasizes remote leadership, data integrity, and advancing digital design practices across diverse international projects.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Architecture or related field with BIM focus.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in architectural design and BIM coordination.
• Extensive expertise in Revit, Navisworks and other BIM software.
• Experience leading BIM implementation on large-scale projects.
• Knowledge of BIM standards (ISO 19650) and workflows.
• Experience training and mentoring BIM teams.
• Strong communication and remote collaboration skills.
• Portfolio of BIM projects desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead BIM strategies and standards across projects.
• Develop and maintain BIM execution plans (BEPs) with project teams.
• Provide BIM training to internal and external stakeholders.
• Oversee creation of complex BIM models for large projects.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary work using BIM to resolve clashes.
• Mentor a remote team of BIM specialists.
• Stay updated on BIM tech and advocate its adoption.
• Ensure data integrity within BIM models throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with clients and project managers to define BIM requirements.
• Contribute to digital design and construction improvements.
