Qualifications

• Master's degree in CS, EE, or a related technical field.
• 12+ years of software architecture experience, with 7+ years in automotive infotainment or consumer electronics.
• Experience designing complex, scalable software architectures for embedded systems.

Responsibilities

• Define the overall system architecture for automotive infotainment systems, including hardware, software, and connectivity components.
• Develop roadmaps and strategies for infotainment features such as navigation, multimedia playback, smartphone integration (CarPlay/Android Auto), and voice control.
• Specify requirements for UI/UX design to ensure intuitive interactions.
• Collaborate with software teams to oversee implementation of the architecture.
• Evaluate and select key technologies and third-party solutions for infotainment systems.
• Ensure integration with other vehicle ECUs and external services (cloud platforms).
• Define security requirements and implement robust cybersecurity measures.
• Stay updated on trends in consumer electronics and automotive connectivity.
• Mentor junior architects and engineers, fostering technical excellence.
• Prepare architectural designs and strategy documents for stakeholders.
