Placements24 partners with a growing tech startup to recruit a Junior Legal Officer on a contract basis. This remote role supports the senior legal team with contract reviews, compliance checks, and research from anywhere.

Ideal for a recent law graduate or 1–2 years' experience seeking hands-on exposure in a fast-paced, remote-first environment. You will organize records, draft documents, and contribute to strategy discussions.

Qualifications

• LLB or equivalent legal qualification.
• 0–2 years' legal experience; internships welcome.
• Strong research and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Review and draft standard commercial agreements and NDAs.
• Conduct legal research as directed by senior staff.
• Assist with compliance checks and regulatory matters.
• Maintain and organize legal records and documentation.
• Prepare legal correspondence and reports.
• Provide administrative support for legal projects.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to strategy discussions.
