Placements24 is seeking a motivated Junior Corporate Paralegal for a fully remote role with a growing Stellenbosch-based corporate law firm. You will gain hands-on experience in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, and commercial transactions alongside experienced attorneys in a flexible home-office setting.

The ideal candidate holds a recognized paralegal qualification or law degree, demonstrates strong organizational skills, and is eager to learn.

Qualificações

• A recognized paralegal qualification or a relevant law degree/diploma.
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and law practice software.

Responsabilidades

• Assist attorneys in drafting, reviewing, and managing corporate documents.
• Conduct legal research on corporate law, regulatory requirements and trends.
• Support due diligence for mergers, acquisitions and other transactions.
• Maintain corporate records and registers of members/directors.
• Prepare and file documents with regulators such as CIPC.
• Assist in formation and registration of new entities.
• Coordinate meetings and communication between clients and attorneys.
• Organize electronic and physical filing systems for clients.
• Provide administrative support including scheduling and correspondence.
