Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Remote IT Systems Administrator to oversee and maintain the company’s IT infrastructure from anywhere. The role emphasizes security, reliability, and proactive issue resolution across servers, networks, and related systems.

You will install, configure, monitor, and optimize Windows and Linux servers, manage VPNs and firewalls, and ensure robust backups and disaster recovery plans.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an IT Systems Administrator or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of server administration, networking protocols, and virtualization technologies.
• Expertise in security best practices and threat mitigation.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
