Placements24 is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to join a fully remote logistics team. You will maintain accurate stock records, perform cycle counts, and collaborate with procurement to optimize stock levels.

The role rewards meticulous attention to detail, independent work at home, and proficiency with warehouse management systems to minimize discrepancies across all distribution points. You will implement inventory control procedures, investigate discrepancies, and ensure compliance

Qualifications

Proven experience in inventory control or related logistics role.
Experience with WMS and inventory tracking tools.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, stock movements, and product locations within the warehouse management system (WMS).
Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to verify stock accuracy.
Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical stock and system records.
Implement and enforce inventory control policies and procedures to prevent loss and damage.
Analyze inventory data to identify slow-moving or obsolete stock and recommend appropriate actions.
Collaborate with procurement and operations teams to ensure optimal stock levels and smooth replenishment.
