Placements24 is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to join our team remotely, supporting operations across locations in Paarl and Stellenbosch. The role focuses on accuracy, completeness, and efficiency of inventory records, implementing robust controls, and conducting audits from a remote work setup.

You will analyze discrepancies, monitor stock movements, and collaborate with warehouse, procurement, and sales to ensure timely replenishment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in inventory control roles.
• Experience with WMS and ERP systems.
• Strong analytical and data-reporting skills.
• Ability to work remotely and independently.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain inventory control policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular physical, cycle counts, and checks.
• Investigate discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment.
• Collaborate with warehouse, procurement, and sales teams.
• Generate reports on inventory accuracy and obsolescence.
