About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous and experienced Inventory Control Specialist to join their team remotely, supporting operations that include areas like Paarl . This role is dedicated to ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and efficiency of inventory records across all storage locations. You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining robust inventory control procedures, conducting regular audits, and analyzing discrepancies to identify root causes and implement corrective actions. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive inventory control policies and procedures.


• Conduct regular physical inventory counts, cycle counts, and cycle checks to ensure accuracy of inventory records.


• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions.


• Monitor stock levels, track inventory movements, and ensure timely replenishment of stock.


• Collaborate with warehouse operations, procurement, and sales teams to ensure smooth inventory flow.


• Generate reports on inventory accuracy, stock valuation, obsolescence, and other key metrics.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Inventory Control Specialist or in a similar inventory management role.


• Strong knowledge of inventory control techniques, warehouse management systems (WMS), and ERP systems.


• Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.


• Proficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.


• Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently and remotely.
