Placements24 is seeking a proactive Remote Insurance Compliance Officer to ensure adherence to regulatory standards and internal policies across insurance operations. This fully remote role requires meticulous oversight of compliance programs, risk assessments, and staff guidance from a home office.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Law or related field, with at least 7 years in insurance compliance, and deep knowledge of South African legislation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in insurance compliance or regulatory affairs.
• In-depth knowledge of South African insurance legislation and regulatory frameworks.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing compliance strategies.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive compliance programs and policies.
• Monitor insurance operations for adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Conduct internal audits and risk assessments to identify potential compliance vulnerabilities.
• Investigate compliance breaches and recommend corrective actions.
