Placements24 seeks a highly skilled Remote Insurance Data Analyst to extract actionable insights from large datasets, guiding strategy and risk management in insurance. You will develop models, create dashboards, and communicate findings to stakeholders, while collaborating with IT and business units.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or related quantitative field.
• Minimum 4 years as a Data Analyst, ideally in insurance.
• Proficiency in data analysis and statistical software (R, Python, SQL) and visualization (Tableau, Power BI).
• Strong statistical modeling, ML concepts, and data mining knowledge.
• Excellent analytical, detail-oriented, and remote collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and transform large datasets from various sources for analysis.
• Develop and implement statistical models to identify trends and correlations in insurance data.
• Create reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Assist in forecasting and predictive modeling for claims, pricing, and customer behavior.
• Collaborate with IT and business units to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
• Contribute to data governance policies and procedures.
