Placements24 is seeking a highly analytical and self-motivated Remote Insurance Data Analyst to join their innovative team, working remotely to serve clients nationwide. You will transform raw insurance data into actionable insights that drive strategic decisions, product development, and operational efficiency.

You will dive into datasets to identify trends, create statistical models, and communicate findings through dashboards and reports, collaborating with underwriting, claims, and marketing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Data Analyst, preferably within the insurance industry.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as SQL, Python, or R.
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and statistical modeling techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to present technical findings clearly to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and process large volumes of insurance-related data from various sources.
• Develop and implement statistical models and algorithms to analyze performance, identify risk factors, and forecast trends.
• Create compelling data visualizations, dashboards, and reports to communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with underwriting, claims, and marketing teams to provide data-driven recommendations.
• Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvements through data analysis.
