Placements24 is seeking a highly knowledgeable Insurance Compliance Officer to join a remote team in South Africa. You will ensure adherence to FAIS, FICA, and internal policies while developing and monitoring compliance programs.

The role requires strong regulatory understanding, sharp analytical skills, and the ability to train staff and liaise with regulators and auditors from anywhere in South Africa, with a focus on Stellenbosch region standards.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in insurance compliance or risk management.
• Deep knowledge of SA insurance laws and FAIS/FICA.
• Excellent communication and staff training skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and monitor the company's insurance compliance program.
• Track regulatory changes and update policies accordingly.
• Conduct internal audits and assess compliance effectiveness.
• Provide training and guidance on compliance matters.
• Investigate breaches and recommend corrective actions.
