About the Role

Our client is seeking a technically adept and client-focused Remote Installation Support Technician to join their fully remote team. This role is vital in providing comprehensive remote assistance to clients and field teams during the installation and setup of our specialized products. You will diagnose technical issues, guide users through complex procedures, and ensure successful product integration and operation. This position requires excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and a deep understanding of Installation & Maintenance principles, all delivered from a remote work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support for equipment installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Assist clients and field technicians via phone, email, and video conferencing to resolve installation challenges.
• Analyze and diagnose equipment malfunctions and performance issues remotely.
• Document all support interactions, resolutions, and product feedback accurately.
• Collaborate with internal engineering and support teams to elevate complex issues.
• Develop and update knowledge base articles and troubleshooting guides for common installation problems.
• Conduct remote training sessions for clients on product setup and basic maintenance.

Requirements

• Previous experience in technical support, field service, or a similar role, with a strong emphasis on remote assistance.
• Solid understanding of Installation & Maintenance processes for hardware and software systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Proficiency in using remote desktop tools, diagnostic software, and customer support platforms.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
