Job summary

Bilnor Labour is seeking an Installation and Repair Technician for a fully remote role, supporting operations initially based in Durban. The ideal candidate will install, maintain, and repair client systems, ensuring reliable performance while coordinating with clients and internal teams.

You will diagnose hardware and software issues, read electrical, mechanical and network diagrams, and provide clear technical guidance in a remote setting.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in technical installation, maintenance, and repair.
• Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and network systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and manuals.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and methodical problem-solving.
• Proficiency with common diagnostic tools and software.
• Excellent customer service and ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform installations of new equipment and systems per specs.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software malfunctions.
• Conduct routine maintenance and inspections.
• Provide on-site technical assistance and support to customers.
• Manage service schedules and logistics.
• Document work and resolutions in the company database.
