Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager to oversee critical infrastructure development and upgrade projects in the Polokwane region. The role involves planning, executing, and delivering large-scale civil projects with emphasis on safety, cost control, and regulatory compliance.

You will lead diverse project teams, coordinate with contractors and government bodies, and ensure timely delivery from initiation to final handover.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of infrastructure project management experience.
• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
• Proven track record of large-scale infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of infrastructure projects, including planning, design, procurement, and construction.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to high quality and safety standards.
• Coordinate and oversee the work of project teams, contractors and suppliers.
• Develop and manage project schedules, resource allocation, and risk mitigation plans.
• Liaise with government agencies, community stakeholders, and utility providers as required.
• Conduct regular site inspections and progress reviews to ensure project compliance and performance.
