• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent virtual communication and collaboration skills for remote work.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines remotely.
• Experience with project management methodologies.
• Must be based in South Africa for this fully remote position.

Responsibilities

• Conduct remote analysis of manufacturing and operational processes across multiple global sites to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and standardize best-practice procedures and workflows to be implemented across all company facilities.
• Design and propose solutions for process optimization, waste reduction, and efficiency gains, utilizing data analytics and simulation tools.
• Collaborate virtually with plant managers, engineering teams, and operational staff worldwide to facilitate the adoption of new methodologies.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including process maps, SOPs, and training materials for remote delivery.
• Lead and manage improvement projects from conception to implementation, coordinating efforts across different time zones and locations.
• Analyze operational data to identify trends, predict potential issues, and recommend proactive solutions.
• Facilitate remote workshops and training sessions to disseminate knowledge and best practices related to industrial engineering principles.
