Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Hygiene Compliance Officer to oversee hygiene standards across operations with a fully remote setup. You will develop, implement, and monitor hygiene policies, conduct remote audits, and guide on-site teams on infection control and regulatory compliance.

The role involves staying updated on regulations, liaising with regulatory bodies, and delivering training to staff to elevate hygiene standards in a dynamic, evolving industry.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Environmental Health, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in compliance management, hygiene, or sanitation in a regulated industry.
• Knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations (e.g., HACCP, food safety).
• Experience delivering remote training and communicating effectively in a remote work setting.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and update hygiene policies to align with regulations and best practices.
• Conduct remote audits and assessments to ensure compliance with hygiene standards.
• Investigate deviations and implement corrective actions.
• Provide expert guidance and training on hygiene practices and regulatory compliance.
• Stay informed about legislative changes and liaise with regulators and auditors.
