Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Remote Sanitation Compliance Officer to ensure hygiene and sanitation regulations are met across operations. In this fully remote role you will develop, implement, and monitor compliance programs, conduct virtual audits, and advise on sanitation best practices to protect quality and safety.

Collaborating with operational teams, you will identify risks, drive corrective actions, and interpret relevant regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in sanitation, quality assurance, or regulatory compliance.
• In-depth knowledge of national and international sanitation regulations and standards.
• Proven experience in conducting audits and developing compliance programs.
• Analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
• Proficiency in using remote collaboration tools and digital documentation systems for work in Mahikeng and beyond.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive sanitation and hygiene compliance programs.
• Conduct remote audits and inspections of facilities and processes to ensure adherence to standards.
• Interpret and communicate relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations to operational teams.
• Investigate compliance issues, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
• Develop training materials and conduct virtual training sessions on sanitation best practices.
• Prepare reports on compliance status, audit findings, and corrective action plans for management.
