Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a proactive Remote Hygiene Coordinator to oversee hygiene standards across dispersed sites, including Sandton. This role requires strong communication, data analysis, and remote coordination to ensure compliance with sanitation protocols.

You will develop and implement policies, conduct virtual audits, coordinate with site managers, and maintain records, while working fully remotely with flexible hours and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in hygiene management, sanitation, or environmental health roles.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitizing agents, and health regulations.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management skills for remote coordination.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to manage relationships virtually.
• Proficiency in using digital tools for communication, record-keeping, and project management.
• Ability to analyze data and report on hygiene performance metrics.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor company-wide hygiene and sanitation policies.
• Coordinate with site managers and staff to ensure consistent application of cleaning protocols.
• Conduct virtual assessments and audits of hygiene standards in various locations.
• Identify and recommend improvements to existing sanitation procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of hygiene audits, training, and compliance activities.
• Liaise with external vendors for cleaning supplies and services as needed.
