Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Remote HR Specialist to join its fully remote HR team. You will support HR operations, interpret policies, and assist employees through virtual channels, ensuring compliant and consistent HR delivery across locations.

The role emphasizes building a positive remote work culture, delivering training, and providing timely responses to inquiries. A Bachelor's degree and 2–4 years of HR experience are expected, with proficiency in HRIS and collaboration tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in an HR role, preferably with remote support experience.
• Proficiency in HRIS and virtual collaboration tools (Zoom, Slack).
• Solid understanding of HR principles and South African labor legislation.
• Strong written and verbal communication with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote HR support and guidance to employees and managers.
• Assist in administering and communicating HR policies for a remote workforce.
• Maintain HRIS data integrity and generate HR analytics reports.
• Support recruitment activities, including job postings and scheduling interviews virtually.
• Contribute to virtual HR training and onboarding programs.
• Address employee inquiries via digital channels.
