Job summary

Placements24 is offering an Apprenticeship for an aspiring HR Generalist in Bloemfontein, Free State. This fully remote program provides exposure to recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compensation and benefits, and training & development under seasoned HR mentors.

You will gain hands-on experience supporting employees and management, helping implement HR policies, and contributing to diverse HR initiatives across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in HR, psychology, or business administration.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruitment processes: post jobs, screen resumes, schedule interviews.
• Support onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Maintain employee records and HR databases, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
• Provide administrative support for HR functions, including letters and contracts.
• Assist with administration of employee benefits and compensation programs.
• Support resolution of employee inquiries and concerns.
• Help coordinate employee training and development initiatives.
• Contribute to development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
• Participate in HR projects and initiatives as required.
