Blacksmith Agency is hiring a Sales Development Representative to open doors and drive pipeline across South Africa. You will own the top of the funnel: researching, sourcing and booking meetings with qualified decision makers, shaping the first impression of Blacksmith for potential clients.

This full-time, remote position requires 2 years in an SDR/BDR role, strong written communication, and familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo, plus Salesforce

Qualifications

• 2 years in an SDR/BDR role.
• Strong written communication and the ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
