Job summary

Core Code io is seeking a proactive Business Development Representative in South Africa to identify new business opportunities, generate qualified leads, and build a strong pipeline for the sales team. You will engage prospects, understand their needs, and create opportunities for Account Executives through outbound outreach.

The ideal candidate has excellent communication, research, and prospecting skills, comfortable working remotely, and a proven ability to meet activity and pipeline targets

Qualifications

• Experience in business development, sales development, or related roles.
• Experience with outbound prospecting and lead qualification.
• Experience using CRM systems and maintaining prospect data.
• Proven track record of meeting activity and pipeline targets.

Responsibilities

• Identify and research potential customers and target accounts.
• Prospect for new opportunities via calls, email, social media, and other channels.
• Conduct outbound outreach to generate qualified leads.
• Qualify prospects based on needs and potential fit.
• Conduct discovery conversations to uncover challenges and opportunities.
• Schedule meetings and product demonstrations for qualified prospects.
• Maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities.
• Collaborate with Account Executives, Sales, and Marketing.
• Track outreach activities and progress in the CRM.
• Provide feedback on market trends and customer needs.
• Meet or exceed lead generation and pipeline targets.
