The role requires a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering and at least six years in grid tech, SCADA, and distribution automation; strong data analysis, communication protocols (DNP3, Modbus),

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with focus on Power Systems/Grid Technologies.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in electrical engineering with grid modernization, smart grids or utility operations.
• Strong knowledge of SCADA, distribution automation, and communication protocols (DNP3, Modbus).
• Proficiency in power system analysis tools and simulation software.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop specifications for grid modernization projects, including substation automation and communication networks.
• Analyze grid performance data to identify areas for improvement and propose technical solutions.
• Evaluate and integrate smart grid technologies such as advanced metering, DERMS and more.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, utilities, and technology partners to ensure project success.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design drawings, reports, and standards.
• Provide technical expertise and support throughout the project lifecycle from concept to commissioning.
