Responsibilities

• Research and identify grant funding opportunities from foundations, corporations, and government bodies for environmental conservation.
• Develop persuasive grant proposals, letters of inquiry, full proposals, and supporting documents.
• Collaborate with program staff to gather necessary information, data, and impact metrics for proposals.
• Ensure grant applications adhere to each funder guidelines and deadlines.
• Manage grant submission process with timely, accurate delivery of materials.
• Maintain a database of opportunities, submissions, and awards.
• Cultivate relationships with foundation program officers and contacts.
• Prepare post-award reports and manage stewardship for ongoing funding.
